To define and ensure compliance with the values and objectives of Newquay Town Council
To establish and regularly review policies and plans to achieve those Objectives
To conduct business which appertains to the Tourism & Leisure Committee aspects of Newquay & the Borough of Restormel
To establish an Annual budget for approval by Full Council
To consider any matter referred by Full Council
To examine and monitor the committee's Risk Assessment and update it as is necessary
To monitor and continually report on all projects undertaken by the committee
The committee shall meet 9 times in a Municipal year, on the second Tuesday after a Full Council meeting (the exceptions being May, August and December), with Special meetings being called as required
A Chairman and Vice Chairman will be elected at the first committee meeting (normally June), after Mayor Making has taken place
